Did you know that 80 per­cent of women across na­tions have said that they are in­spired by pho­tog­ra­phy that cap­tures ev­ery­day tri­umphs? And that women are six times more likely to be in­spired by pho­to­graphs of other women’s tri­umphs than they are of posed “self­ies”? These are the re­sults of a PANDORA study (com­pris­ing in­ter­views with over 7,000 women from eight coun­tries) that also showed one in three women ad­mit­ting that they’ve missed out on ex­pe­ri­ences be­cause they were too busy try­ing to take the per­fect photo. The find­ings of its study is what led PANDORA to launch an em­pow­er­ing cam­paign that en­cour­ages women to share can­did, nat­u­ral im­ages of ev­ery­day cel­e­bra­tions—be it a price­less mo­ment of wit­ness­ing a child’s first step, or even an in­ti­mate tête-à-tête with girl­friends one hasn’t seen in a while; no cel­e­bra­tion or tri­umph is too big or small. A nat­u­ral ex­ten­sion of PANDORA’s “DO” ini­tia­tive, the DO See the Wonderful cam­paign is set on aer­at­ing so­cial me­dia chan­nels with an in­flux of au­then­tic pho­to­graphs that show­cases the many wonderful mo­ments in a woman’s life.
