HAPPY AT HOME
BESPOKE LUXURY The newlyrenovated one- and two-bedroom villas have a master suite, living room (great for tea ceremonies), garden and plunge pool, as well as a patio and outdoor stone bath, which is really romantic for your first night as a married couple. The Larkhill Terrace Suites, on the other hand, comprise 12 bespoke suites on the first floor, and six larger ones on the second. The 12 have direct access to the infinity pool, a spacious courtyard with outdoor tub and daybeds for private tanning. The other six feature a spacious living room with balcony, and a four-poster king-sized bed. TIME TO CELEBRATE The resort’s Glass Pavilion, fondly known as the Glass Chapel, comes with Philippe Starck chairs and floor-to-ceiling glass panels for an intimate solemnisation. Adding to its charm is an antique wedding bell and the waterfall outside. For opulent banquets, there is the magnificent and pillar-free two-storey glass Grand Ballroom with its own foyer and private entrance, as well as the latest lighting technology to suit your reception’s theme. The resort’s wedding packages come with such perks as reduced room rates for guests, as well as a special rate for an after-party at Tier Bar. You can even choose to upgrade from the bridal suite to a Courtyard Suite, Larkhill Terrace Suite or villa with a minimal top-up fee. SWEET SUITES The Verandah Suites, which are Amara Sanctuary Resort Sentosa’s bridal suites, are housed on the first level of a two-storey heritage building that sits on a hill, and used to be the WWII British Sergeants’ quarters. Each has a master bedroom with a fourposter bed, as well as a living room and a verandah. The newly-renovated Courtyard Suites, on the ground level of the same building, are larger and have more luxurious facilities, such as a personal lounge pool in a private courtyard.
