NOW SHOP – LAMITAK CITY GALLERY
THE LAMINATE BRAND ’ S FIRST CITY SHOWROOM
The laminate brand’s first city showroom.
The new Lamitak gallery in Lavender is not only a more accessible location for homeowners (a relief for those who dread driving to its Sungei Kadut branch), but it has customer service down to a T, too. The gallery’s thoughtful and stylish design makes it easy for you to get to know your options better – an important aspect of laminate-shopping, especially with the increasingly creative areas of application, such as 3-D feature walls and bench stools (we spotted some in the gallery!).
The 2,105sqf gallery is separated into two spaces: the cosy mezzanine where interior designers and homeowners can discuss in private, and the ground floor, which showcases hundreds of designs.
In the material library, there are full-height panels that can be pulled out and rotated 360 degrees; this allows you to see the intricacy of Lamitak’s patterns and textures, and how light reflects off the materials.
Homeowners will also be able to browse over 450 pieces of laminates – one for every Lamitak design, including crowd favourites like Oak Giethoorn and the stone-look Ramblas. Worried that the afternoon sun will affect the way your laminate looks? Head over to the lightbox, where you can see how the designs might differ under white and warm lighting.
The staff members know how tedious it can be to keep track of so many designs, so they’ll help you note the ones you’ve selected or viewed for easy future reference. You can also take home samples and a copy of Lamitak’s photobook, the Everyday booklet.
BOTTOM Lamitak’s centralised location and the fact that it opens seven days a week ensures that it’s easily accessible to everyone.
RIGHT, BELOW Many Lamitak designs and colours are inspired by the interesting cities, forests, and scenic spots that Lamitak director Jansen Tan has seen on his travels.
RIGHT The home staging area will be refreshed every few months, to give customers decorating as well as laminate-related ideas.
