The NX Mini has the sensor with the highest resolution, and it shows, as the camera consistently produced images with the most detail. We found that images taken with the NX Mini had a slight magenta cast, but overall exposure was accurate and autofocus was highly capable. If anything, we’d say Samsung manages to make really good use of the smaller 1-inch sensor in the NX Mini. Images are clean up to ISO 800, after which slight smudging starts to occur. We’d stay below ISO 3200 with the NX Mini. The lack of image stabilization also means you’ll have to take extra care in minding your shutter speeds when working handheld.

Images from the NX Mini have a slight magenta cast

At ISO 3200, you see a fair amount of smudging.

At lower ISOs, you get a good amount of detail.
