PARALLELS ACCESS 2.0
Parallels is a brand mostly known by Mac users for Parallels Desktop, a virtualization software that allows one’s Mac to run both OS X and Windows side by side. Last year, Parallels launched Parallels Access, a remote desktop app that let’s one connect to and run Mac desktop apps on an iPad; full Windows support came a few months after. However, its usefulness has still been constrained to the Apple crowd…till now.
Parallels Access just had a major update to version 2.0 with support for Android (4.0 and above) devices, alongside a host of new features. Set up is simple: you download an agent that runs on your PC/Mac, then install Parallels Access from the App Store or Google Play — depending on which mobile device you own—and you can now run just about any program you have on your PC/Mac on your smartphone/tablet. Here are 5 things you can do with Parallels Access 2.0 straight away.
