AND THE BEST BUDGET GAMING NOTEBOOK IS…

HWM (Singapore) - - Test -

GIGABYTE SABRE 15

The Sabre 15 offers a judicious blend of competitive speci cations and affordability. At $1,799, it is the second cheapest notebook in this shootout, but it offers 16GB of RAM, the only other notebook here to do so other than the $2,298 Acer Aspire VX 15. The additional memory will come in handy for heavy multi-tasking, but the Sabre 15 also rises to the top of the pack in terms of gaming performance. It is a small lead, but any advantage is difficult to pass up, especially considering that it is also cheaper than most of the other notebooks (with the exception of the Aftershock MX-15 Elite). Then there’s its strong battery life relative to its competitors, which only further cements its lead at the top of the pack. To cap things off, the Sabre 15 also offers customizable three-zone RGB backlighting and a decent screen, which is more than can be said for many of the other notebooks.
