THE FUTURE IS HERE

If we can have all-electric cars, then why not all-electric yachts? This was the thought behind the creation of Dasher by Hinckley Yachts, who claims that it is the world’s first electric luxury motor yacht. Set for delivery in summer 2018, Dasher is designed from the ground up for fully electric propulsion. Power comes from twin 80hp motors and is stored in waterproof lithium ion batteries. The yacht’s carbon-epoxy composite hull and artisanal teak floors contribute to its lightness. Its shallow draft, a trademark of Hinckley Yachts, allows it to explore more places at sea.
