DIANA, REIMAGINED

L'officiel Singapore - - News -

The Marni lady possesses a languid duality: she is a fearless huntress well acquainted with nature, yet has a great appreciation for natural materials. For Marni’s Pre-fall 2016 collection, Consuelo Castiglioni portrays a contemporary version of the mythical huntress Diana through an idyllic medley of animal furs and skins. This includes chunky coats in mink and cow hair, chic chinchilla and fierce fox fur trims. Versatile tailoring creates both crisp and relaxed shapes: a meticulously crisp back-button white shirt is belted and paired with a chunky overcoat, and oversized corduroy flared pants are worn with an equally oversized coat.
