Hublot Big Bang MECA-10

Hublot has created a new manufacture movement, the skeleton manual-winding HUB1201 with 10- day power reserve. Performance notwithstanding, its original and stylised assembly is a big part of the offer. The Big Bang MECA-10’S open dial shows the movement’s atypical architecture that resembles the building- block components of childhood Meccano toy kits. However, the functional focus remains on the lengthy power reserve indicated by two displays. The first is a crown gear marked with stencil- cut numerals, and the second is a circular plate set with H-style screws that reveals red during the last two days of the movement’s charge. There’s a third “indicator”; the position of the rack and pinions themselves at the top of the dial gives a pretty accurate gauge, with the rack gradually moving right as the movement winds down. The MECA-10 is available in industrial titanium or full black PVD, the latter a tribute to Hublot’s 10 years of All Black concept.
