CHEW MORE, EAT LESS

Men's Health (Singapore) - - BULLETINS -

Don’t rush your lunch down your windpipe. Chewing your food thoroughly may aid in weight management, according to a Journal Of The Academy Of Nutrition And Dietetics study. Participants who chewed their pizza slices twice the number of times than the baseline consumed 14.8 per cent less food. The researchers also found that normal-weight participants had a slower eating rate that those who were overweight or obese. Want to form a habit of chewing more? Eat regular meals and don’t let yourself get too hungry at meal times.
