Par­tic­i­pants who chewed their pizza slices twice the num­ber of times than the base­line con­sumed 14.8 per cent less food. The re­searchers also found that nor­mal-weight par­tic­i­pants had a slower eat­ing rate that those who were over­weight or obese. Want to form a habit of chew­ing more? Eat reg­u­lar meals and don’t let your­self get too hun­gry at meal times.
