Men who’ve popped mul­tivi­ta­mins for at least 20 years have a 44 per­cent lower risk of car­dio­vas­cu­lar dis­ease (in­clud­ing heart at­tack and stroke) than those who didn’t take them, the Jour­nal of Nu­tri­tion re­ports. Ei­ther the ben­e­fits take many years to ap­pear, or vi­ta­min tak­ers make health­ier choices in gen­eral, the sci­en­tists the­o­rise.
