Throw a cosmic paw-ty in celebration of Star Wars Day.

attack of the munchies

Nope, there's no clone army here—just Fido and his hungry friends. Satisfy your furry guests with these Star Wars- inspired doggy snacks. Turn sticks of jerky into beaming lightsabers by coating them in coloured yoghurt; trap Hans Solo in carbonite by freezing him in blue jello; and pipe your favourite Star Wars characters (using mashed potato frosting) over frozen peanut butter and banana pupcakes!

Tip: While food colouring is safe for pups in small amounts, you can also make your own all-natural dye out of fruits and vegetables, such as beet, spinach, blueberries, turmeric and cinnamon.

Just as BB-8 was a trusty assistant to Resistance X-wing fighter pilot Poe, he'll become Fido's best bud. Craft your own little BB-8 treat dispenser out of styrofoam balls and coloured markers, and cut a little hole at the bottom to make room for your furkid's favourite snack.

Tip: Join the two parts with small toothpicks, and only allow your pooch to play with it under supervision.

Which dog doesn't love a good paw-ty, especially one with meaty lightsabers? Here's how to throw a fur-bulous space-orama for your furry Jedi and his best pals. BY GILLIAN LIM

What's a Star Wars paw-ty without Stormtroopers, X-wing Starfighters, TIE fighters, and of course the Millennium Falcon? Set the scene for some lightspeed action with these easyto-make decorations! Inflate white balloons and use black permanent markers to draw Stormtrooper faces; and print and cut out coloured silhouettes of the galactic vehicles and little stars, then string them up on the wall.

paw-some padawan

Create your own flowing robes for aspiring Jedi puppers by sewing brown cloth together and cutting holes for his head and arms. If your handicraft skills aren’t the best, don’t fret—the more rugged, the better! Top your furkid’s frock off with a rope and he’s ready to dish out peace and justice in the galaxy as the Chosen One.

Tip: Reuse Christmas tree tinsel for that extra shimmer. Tip: Opt for hot glue guns or fabric glue for a quicker fix. PHOTOS EDDIE TEO STYLING & ART DIRECTION LIM KAY LI PET MODEL RUBY (@RUBYTHEMALTIPOO15)
