Against the Odds
The Rolls-Royce presence Down Under is certainly flourishing, with Gold Coast becoming the latest city to be represented, making Australia the country with the most number of dealership facilities in the Asia region outside of China. A new showroom is also in the works and should be ready by the second quar ter of this year.
Steve Kelly, CEO of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Queensland, said: “Sunshine Automotive is extremely proud and privileged to have been appointed the dealer representative for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Queensland. The appointment recognises the dedication, experience and customer focus of our multi-award-winning team.”
Australians have demonstrated that they are highly discerning customers with their solid reception to the Rolls-Royce Bespoke programme – the Sydney and Melbourne dealerships are among the highest-grossing in the region for average bespoke content per car.
Over in the Philippines, the marque continued its steady expansion in Asia-Pacific by celebrating the inauguration of its dealership operations in Manila.
Appointed in June last year, the new authorised dealership will host customers in a temporary facility in Global City until a new showroom is opened this year.
President of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Manila, Mr Willy Tee Ten, added: “Commissioning a Rolls-Royce takes time and consideration, and we’re pleased to have this space to engage with our customers.
“I’m delighted that the global team of directors from the Home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood in Great Britain were able to join us in Manila to celebrate this occasion.”
