An irrepressible confidence inhabits the hearts and minds of women who wear Pasquale Bruni, an Italian jeweller founded on true passion, discovers

FEMININITY PAIRED WITH sensuality is the key allure of Pasquale Bruni’s bejewelled creations. However, the Italian jewellery house’s admirers are also self-aware contemporary women who are the ultimate stewards of how its jewellery is perceived and represented. “The women who wear Pasquale Bruni bring passion and confidence to everything they do and it’s an honour to be with them on their journey,” says the eponymous founder, who respects authenticity in women.

Whether their achievements might be recognised in business, science, politics or the arts, there is a daring thread through the careers and lives of women such as Dita Von Teese, Monica Bellucci, Amal Alamuddin Clooney, Janelle Monáe and Jennifer Lopez, who have all been photographed wearing Pasquale Bruni jewellery. These women are known for their intelligence, drive, character and having a distinctive, statement style. They also appreciate creations that they can wear every day and make their own.

Understanding the needs of such woman clearly is Eugenia Bruni, creative director of Pasquale Bruni and daughter of its namesake founder. Eugenia has been in charge of the brand’s creative growth since 2011 and is herself the perfect epitome of the Pasquale Bruni spirit. Two years ago, she provocatively named a collection Sissi Io Amo, simply translated as “I love myself”. A distinguishing feature was the suppleness and flexibility of its gold chokers and bracelets to ensure ease of wear when putting on or removing the pieces.

Versatility is also a key consideration for Eugenia when she designs: Necklaces are sometimes designed with the possibility of one or two focal points; while the ease of different stacked rings is a way to personalise work attire. Rings are, in fact, her favourite items to create: The iconic Bon Ton collection rings, with their petals’ pleasing roundedness, have garnered a particular following with its elegant playfulness.

The popularity of the Bon Ton designs and the use of floral shapes, as well as the presence of garden hues through the brand’s work, all represent nature’s imprint thanks to both father and daughter. While Pasquale received his
