As part of its anniversary celebrations, Montblanc has introduced the Bohème Exotourbillon Slim 110 Years Anniversary timepiece for women. Powered by the watchmaker’s automatic calibre MB M29.24, the horologe is equipped with its patented one-minute Exotourbillon that took over three years of research and development to produce and comes with an inhouse quick stop-second mechanism and micro-rotor. Recalling the aesthetic of the Maison’s very first fountain pen series — Rouge et Noir — the ticker features a blue lacquered serpent that is outlined with red gold-plated wires coiled languidly around a mother-of-pearl dial. While 55 diamonds are used to create this creature’s scales, two rubies serve as its eyes. A further 58 diamonds are set on its bezel to complete the look.
