Prestige (Singapore) - - AGENDA -

Amid distressed treatments, natural textures and a soft colour palette, one thing stands out from giorgio armani’s new-season offerings: Carribean-flavoured ornamental graphics. “Exoticism is a fundamental trait of my design language,” explained the Italian maestro. “I like to look to other cultures, other ways of understanding the cut of garments, other styles of decor, or methods of weaving fabrics and then integrate these elements into my search for sophisticated and timeless simplicity. These abstract graphic patterns have an obvious warmth and I used them as a light touch to characterise clothes and accessories.”
