Summer Haven

-

A slice of Americana could be yours now that the childhood summer home of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and her family has come on the market. Listed with Christie’s International Real Estate for approximately US$39 million, the sprawling 7.15-acre East Hampton home was originally built in 1917. Named Lasata (a Native American name for “place of peace”), the home was restored by former Coach Creative Director Reed Krakoff who purchased it in 2007. Besides a 10-bedroom main house, the property also comes with a two-bedroom guest house, pool house and three-car garage building. Not bad for for those who enjoy entertaining.
