Ferrari 250 GTO

Rules For The Modern Man - - Rules For The Modern Man -

There are dozens of Ferraris that are remarkable in their design, from the Pontoon Fenders to the Touring cars, but none so outstanding as the 250 GTO, designed by Giotto Bizzarrini and Sergio Scaglietti, whose logo is borne on the side of the car. The layout of the car is still used in Ferrari today. The curved rear windows, flowing seamlessly with the wheel base to the front, sinking in between the headlights, made this not only an organic design but also race-friendly. The air vents at the side, a Ferrari icon, and the sound of the engine, that sweet V12 running up 300 horses. Incredible.
