WHICH GRAIN TO GO WITH?
A meal built around whole grains will fill you up, keep you slim, and boost your heart health. In addition to the brown rice, couscous and quinoa in these bowls, try millet (a very fine-grained cereal) or spelt (dried wheat with a sweet, nutty flavour). Just like rice, most are brought to a boil, then simmered until the liquid is absorbed. For a flavour boost, substitute some of the water with stock or wine.
