A report published in the journal Circulation found that those who went for the unadulterated version were 46 per cent less likely to develop diabetes over a 15-year period. The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition also reported that those who consumed fullfat dairy were less likely to become overweight, possibly due to the fact that fats help to promote satiety.
