GET YOUR FITNESS AND RETAIL THERAPY FIX AT TRIPLEFIT SINGAPORE.

Shape (Singapore) - - Get Fit News -

Looking at how quickly fitness and athleisure are gaining traction in Singapore, it’s not surprising to see more gyms opening, with dedicated space for selling activewear. Strike while the iron is hot, right?

Triplefit Singapore, the latest fitnessretail hub to open its doors (at Millenia Walk), is doing just that – and more.

Spanning 23,500 sq ft – roughly the size of 36 three-room HDB flats combined – this fitness centre is as much of a gym heaven as it is a shopping paradise.

Located at #02- 63 Millenia Walk, it offers gym facilities, group fitness classes, as well as a huge retail section selling activewear and the latest wearable tech. Aside from regular group classes, it also conducts personal training and specialised training programmes, depending on your fitness goals. It’s open from 6.45am to 10pm on weekdays, and 8am to 8pm on weekends and public holidays.

TYPES OF CLASSES

Ready to sweat up a storm? Join one of the group exercise classes. They are broadly classified into three categories: balance, endurance and strength. Balance classes include yoga and calisthenics, which are lower in impact and intensity; endurance classes train both your cardio and muscular endurance (think bootcamps); and strength classes work on boosting muscle definition. Expect many variations of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) to challenge you. Book classes via www.triple.fit or the Triplefit app.

KICKBOXING RIG

A great way to unwind and unleash your inner angst, kickboxing improves endurance, coordination and strength, giving you a full-body workout through liberating kicking and punching combinations. It is done during Cardio Kickboxing, High Impact and MMA Fit classes.

ENDURO ALLEY

As the name suggests, this is where to train endurance. There are no treadmills – just badass machines you’ve probably not used before, like rowing machines, air bikes and ski ergs, as well as kettlebells and push sleds. Endurance classes include Athlean and Endurofit.
