Sally Hansen’s global colour ambassador gives the inside scoop on the season’s ason’s best mani trends.

1 NEGATIVE SPACE A simple black-and-white pattern on a clear tip “can have tons of visual impact in a small area,” Madeline says. To create this easy design, Madeline used Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Hooked on Onyx and Miracle Gel in Get Mod. All shades are available in drugstores. 2 BELTED To spice up the look of a sheer nail, Madeline uses what she calls “nail belt.” The base is a sheer colour, like Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Shell We Dance, with “a row of crystals or studs that go horizontally across the centre of the nail, like a belt or a bracelet,” Madeline says. 3&5 NEW NUDES If you’re not one for designs, try solid mushroom colours, like Sally Hansen Miracle Gel in Totem-ly Yours (on pointer finger), Madeline says. “This is one of those miracle shades that looks great on everyone.” Or for a cool, earthy touch, try Sally Hansen Insta- Dri in Thyme Is Money.

2 1 3 4 4 LABEL MANIA Madeline is not known for being understated. “Right now, I’m loving allover prints from classic designers,” she says–including the signature Fendi logo, shown here. Madeline uses lighter and darker brown shades (like Sally Hansen Insta- Dri in Taupe to Go and Slick Slate) to re-create the linked f’s. 5 PICK A TIP Try your fave look on all 10 nails or as an accent on just a few.
