A perfectly pressed shirt in five minutes sounds incredible, but with a little practice, it can be done. Follow
Turn the shirt inside out, with the yoke (back of the shirt) over the end of the ironing board, and iron from the shoulders down.
Turn the shirt over to iron the front, doing the button side first. Use the tip of the iron to press the fabric around the buttons – not over them – to get a crisp finish and avoid damaging
Lay one sleeve flat on the
ironing board with the cuff open. Pull on the cuff to stretch and straighten the fabric, and iron from the shoulder seam down to the cuff. Repeat with
the other sleeve.
Using the tip of the iron, press the back of the collar, then the front.
