Three Musts for Better Skin

Simply Her (Singapore) - - Beauty | News -

We asked celebrity dermatologist Dr Zein Obagi to share his tips. 1 CUT DOWN ON SUGAR. “Eat a meal but taste dessert. Sugar has no benefit, and is the major cause of inflammation in the body and glycation (the breaking down of collagen) in our skin.” 2 YOUR SKIN ISN’T SENSITIVE. “There is no such thing as ‘sensitive skin’. When skin gets weakened with age, unsuitable product use and inflammation, it becomes sensitised and intolerant.” 3 MOISTURISERS ARE NOT A MUST. “Moisturisers have no long-term effects. When applied on skin, the body gets a signal that there is sufficient moisture and will not deliver more, which will make your skin drier. However, if your skin is very dry, you can use a moisturiser on top of skincare products that work to strengthen and stimulate.”
