If it isn’t the rus­tic French-Euro­pean fare that’ll keep you com­ing back, it’ll be the 27-strong rum col­lec­tion cre­ated in-house – Nutella-Ba­nana flavoured rum, any­one? Our pick is the Pas­sion Fruit-Chilli ($7.50), a sur­pris­ingly smooth po­tion that leaves the tongue tin­gling – in a good way. OR­DER TH­ESE: The Chicken Liver Par­fait & Red Onion Jam ($14.50) is an in­cred­i­bly creamy spread en­hanced by the subtly sweet jam.

The Crispy Skin Suck­ling Pig Mar­i­nated with “Aro­mates” ($37) is breath­tak­ing – we were ren­dered quite speech­less by its de­li­cious­ness. Shards of cracker-thin skin padded with melt-in-the-mouth fat cap ten­der meat that’s suc­cu­lent with­out be­ing greasy. The mash be­neath, made with three types of pota­toes, is oh-so silky. They do only about 18 serv­ings dur­ing week­ends, so make sure you or­der this dish in ad­vance.
