WHAT THESE VACS DO AND DON’T DO

THEY’RE GREAT FOR… • Picking up dust, crumbs and small particles, especially from hard-to-reach areas like under beds and sofas. • Pre-programmed cleaning. Set your robotic cleaner to work at 2am and wake up to a spick and span living room! WHAT THEY’RE NOT SO GOOD FOR… • Litter like tissue paper or sticky notes – pick these up first. But they can push aside light items like soft toys and books. • Tight spaces. If they can’t fit into a spot, they can’t clean it either, although those with swivelling side brushes may be able to swipe dust around corners and furniture legs. • They can’t mount a raised flooring level or climb stairs, although the sensor prevents them from falling off.
