EATING FOR YOUR SKIN
Dr Tan Hiok Hee, senior consultant at Thomson Specialist Skin Centre, recommends these foods for healthy skin:
1 Green tea, fruits in vibrant colours and green, leafy vegetables. These are rich in antioxidants that help slow the signs of ageing.
2 Blackberries, pomegranate and blueberries. They’re known to protect the body against harmful free radicals.
3 Omega-3 and omega-6 essential fatty acids. These pump up moisture in your skin. Find them in salmon and flaxseed.
