THE FOOD You would not expect such exquisite fare, all beautifully plated, from this easy-going restaurant. I started with Leek and Potato, a creamy, richly flavoured leek stew that accompanied a tofu-like block of potato confit and thyme croutons. My main course was a seared sea bass coated with a sweet and savoury garlic soil – a surprising crumble of chocolate bits with minced roasted garlic and shallots. The mango cake, adorned with sprouts, blueberries and diced mangoes, tasted as good as it looked.
