USE: Furoshiki, a tra­di­tional square Ja­panese wrap­ping cloth that’s about 1m long, will bun­dle al­most any­thing from bot­tles to small soft toys. Check out furoshiki.com, which teaches you up to 60 ways to wrap any­thing. We love how the fab­ric is a gift in it­self and re­us­able, too. Try this wrap­ping tech­nique for a bot­tle:

STEP 2: Place the bot­tle at the cen­tre of the cloth, and wrap the folded edge around the neck of the bot­tle to look like the col­lar of a ki­mono.

STEP 1: Fold the cloth into a smaller square to fit the size of the bot­tle. Fold one edge of the cloth in­wards to show 3cm of its un­der­side.
