Leave the pastels and frills to little girls – these Korean labels at the new Robinsons Orchard cater to women who prefer feminine looks with a chic, modern edge. J Apostrophe and LIE by Lie Sang Bong include dresses and separates that make for smart office wear while Basic House covers all ground with simple tees, tanks and sweaters for adults and children.
J Apostrophe’s figureskimming pieces are made from a surprisingly lightweight yet structured knit material, while LIE has draped, easy-towear silhouettes with clean, asymmetrical lines.

This multi-label concept store opened recently at the newly refurbished BHG Bugis, and offers apparel and accessories from Japan and Korea. Pieces are curated to reflect the store’s name, which means “grown-up woman” in Japanese – we found comfy lace peplum tops and striped cotton dresses, ideal for weekends. Prices range from $29 to $139, so you won’t burn a hole in your pocket.
