1 Cleanse Right
A harsh soap or scrub can irritate inflamed skin, so use a gentle cleanser no more than twice a day.
2 Lighten Up
Heavy or long-lasting foundations may clog pores. If you really need some coverage, pick a light BB cream or CC cream instead.
3 Avoid Tress Distress
What you put on your hair can cause breakouts on your forehead and cheeks, so avoid styling products if possible, or keep your hair off your face with a clip.
4 Phone Care
Even if you take care not to touch your face with unwashed hands, bacteria from your phone may get onto your face. So remember to clean your phone with an antibacterial wipe regularly.
5 Take Cover
UV rays may aggravate inflammation, so always use a non-comedogenic sunscreen, wear a hat, and stay out of the sun whenever possible.
