From $988 for 16GB (without contract), from all telcos and www.apple.com/sg. 4-inch touch screen, 8-megapixel rear camera, no optical zoom.
EASE OF USE The lightest of the three at 112g, it’s the easiest to handle and navigate one-handed. I could take photos using the volume buttons or by tapping the screen. RESPONSIVENESS The most responsive, taking up to seven images a second – great for kids and pet shots. OUTDOOR SHOTS Vibrant and sharp, with natural colours. The skin tone of people photographed looked realistic. INDOOR SHOTS Grainy but surprisingly detailed, though it took longer than the other phones to focus on the subject. Pictures taken with the flash were a bit hit-and-miss – it sometimes cast shadows without lighting up the subject. CLOSE-UPS My floral shots were slightly washed out. Image quality dropped when I used the zoom. MODES & EFFECTS It has three shooting modes (square, regular, pano) and nine filters. My favourite was the square mode, which took Instagramsized photos without the hassle of cropping. VERDICT The most handy, user-friendly and responsive phone camera, and it takes great outdoor shots.
