During a vibroliposculpture procedure, patients are sedated without using general anaesthetic. Fat is removed through an incision in an area like the navel or groin so that scars will not be visible. The fat can be stored and used later to augment areas
like the breasts or butt. The procedure takes half a day. Afterwards, patients usually
feel some pain and experience swelling, and normally need at least a couple of days
off work to recover.
