ROAST PORK BELLY WITH SHRIMP PASTE

IN­GRE­DI­ENTS

3 tbsp shrimp paste 2 tbsp oys­ter sauce 3 tbsp su­gar 1 tbsp honey 1 tbsp light soya sauce 3 cloves gar­lic, minced 1 tsp minced gin­ger 1 tsp five spice pow­der 800g pork belly, skin re­moved

DI­REC­TIONS

1 Mix all the in­gre­di­ents ex­cept the pork in a large bowl. Coat the pork belly evenly with the mix­ture and chill for 6 hours. 2 Pre­heat the oven to 170 deg C. Let the pork rest for 20min at room tem­per­a­ture be­fore roast­ing it for 30-40min un­til dark brown. 3 Re­move the pork from the oven and let it rest for 10min be­fore slic­ing it thickly.
