Child Guilt

Simply Her (Singapore) - - Your Say -

(February) really struck a chord. My mum passed away ve years ago, so my dad now lives at home with a helper. My brother and I have asked him to live with either of us but he says he likes his independence. I think he doesn’t want to bother us. Although we meet up every weekend for lunch, it’s not enough. Your article reminded me that it’s normal to feel guilty about our parents, but it’s not healthy to feel guilty about everything that we can’t do with or for them. I’ll pay closer attention to my dad’s needs and hope that he will see my love and effort. Luah Moi Kee The story Do You Have “Child Guilt”?

Delicious Porridge

I was sending Hubby off at the airport’s departure gate while thinking of what I should cook for my daughter, when I saw a copy of the February issue at a bookstore. Buying it was my best decision that day, as I found recipes for porridge in the Home & Food section. They use easy-to-nd ingredients but look incredibly delicious. Thank you for solving my problem with my fussy little eater at home. Joleen Tan

Babymaking Guide

I shared my copy of Simply Her with one of my girlfriends when I found out that she and her hubby have been trying for a Horse baby. We had fun reading The Married Sex Survey and thought the 8 Baby-making Mistakes To Avoid and tips from other women were helpful.
