Amer­i­can multi­na­tional com­pany 3M has opened a new 10,000 square me­tres head­quar­ters in Ang Mo Kio. Housed in­side Tech­point, the new space spans three floors and is dou­ble the size of its pre­vi­ous head­quar­ters at Yishun to host over 500 em­ploy­ees from the re­gional, func­tional, and sup­ply chain op­er­a­tions.

“Our Sin­ga­pore foot­print has grown sig­nif­i­cantly over the last 52 years”, said Yuko Nakahira, man­ag­ing direc­tor, 3M Sin­ga­pore. “This com­ple­ments our growth in the re­gion whilst sup­port­ing the govern­ment’s push for a more live­able city.” The space fea­tures sev­eral wide col­lab­o­ra­tion spa­ces in fresh colours of green and yel­low as 3M aims to boost net­work­ing and in­ter­ac­tion amongst its em­ploy­ees whilst boost­ing pro­duc­tiv­ity. “As we ex­pand our pres­ence in Sin­ga­pore, 3M is look­ing into ways to fos­ter more col­lab­o­ra­tions with lo­cal and re­gional part­ners, and de­velop Asi­a­cen­tric so­lu­tions that ad­dresses our cus­tomers’ sus­tain­abil­ity chal­lenges,” Nakahira added.
