The big shift: Quickhr’s ‘less pa­per, more peo­ple’ so­lu­tion

Quickhr pre­sents users an ex­tremely user-friendly in­ter­face that can au­to­mate any com­pany’s en­tire HR work with a few mouse clicks.

Sin­ga­pore’s Saint­marc South East Asia’s old server-based hu­man re­source plat­form made hir­ing new em­ploy­ees a te­dious process. Not only was its an­ti­quated sys­tem in­flex­i­ble, it also limited the com­pany’s growth and prof­itabil­ity. Fol­low­ing the move to go dig­i­tal, Saint­marc adopted Quickhr, a cost-ef­fec­tive so­lu­tion that has helped boost the com­pany’s over­all pro­duc­tiv­ity.

Saint­marc’s head of fi­nance and hu­man re­source noted that Quickhr’s cloud-based sys­tem has made HR man­age­ment eas­ier and more con­ve­nient for the com­pany. “Our pre­vi­ous HR plat­form was server-based in the of­fice. Once a pay­roll mis­take has been made, we have to restart the process all over again.”

Sukhveer Ba­jaj, Quickhr’s chief ex­ec­u­tive of­fi­cer said that its HR man­age­ment plat­form is a so­lu­tion ‘that any­one can master’.

“This is es­pe­cially help­ful,” Ba­jaj said, “for com­pa­nies like Saint­marc that has a small HR team. In many SMES that we have served, re­sources are of­ten limited and it’s usu­ally a ‘one man show’. You’ll be sur­prised to see that there are even larger com­pa­nies with a sig­nif­i­cant num­ber of head count who op­er­ate with a small HR team.”

Less pa­per, more peo­ple

As a cloud-based Soft­ware-as-aser­vice (Saas) so­lu­tion, Quickhr gives clients the ‘flex­i­bil­ity and scal­a­bil­ity’ to run their busi­ness. By host­ing its data on Ama­zon Web Ser­vices (AWS), the largest cloud in­fra­struc­ture in the world that’s se­cured with multi-tier en­cryp­tion tech­nol­ogy, Quickhr also en­sures that clients get to en­joy a se­cured so­lu­tion at a low cost. By go­ing pa­per­free, Ba­jaj said that “HR de­part­ments can now fo­cus on less pa­per, more peo­ple.”

“It doesn’t mat­ter if you’re just an ad­min in your start-up or a HR Direc­tor in a large cor­po­ra­tion; as long as you use Quickhr, you will be able to solve all of your HR con­cerns,” he ex­pressed.

Since Quickhr is cloud-based, this has given Saint­marc South East Asia the free­dom to al­lo­cate funds to other needs in­stead of up­grad­ing stor­age in­fra­struc­ture ev­ery year. “Such in­fra­struc­ture is rigid, ex­pen­sive and se­cu­rity can be a con­cern. Once the stor­age space is used up, busi­nesses would have to spend more money to pur­chase more in­for­ma­tion stor­age space,” ex­plained Ba­jaj.

Quickhr’s built-in pay­roll mo­d­ule also gives it an edge over other sim­i­lar HR man­age­ment sys­tems. Be­sides an ex­tremely user-friendly in­ter­face, it is also in­te­grated with award­win­ning ac­count­ing soft­ware such as Xero and Quick­books On­line. Quickhr now of­fers an all-in-one man­age­ment so­lu­tion that al­lows clients to use it for more than just HR. It also has an in-built CPF cal­cu­la­tor, auto com­pu­ta­tion of al­lowances, de­duc­tions, over­time pay, ba­sic salary, gross salary, fund­ing, and dona­tions.
