Singapore Tatler Homes - - ARCHITOLOGY INTERIORS SPECIAL FEATURE -

These panels and screens work beautifully with the cleancut interior. The client’s brief was for a minimalist home that eschews opulence in materials and design features. Throughout the 5,700sqft home, there’s an emphasis on simplicity. Against its white walls, mid-century modern furniture and abstract artworks pepper living spaces. The look is consistent throughout the home with cladding on the walls and cabinetry in the kitchen in smoky hues. In the staircase area, the dark finishes of the open-riser stairs also contrast against the white walls. A bed of stones on the ground level imbues a sense of Zen calmness into the area. One of the striking architectural features of this home is the triple-volume space. The design team designated it as the dining area, where a round eight-seater table is positioned beneath a cluster of oversized lamps overhead.
