Indoor and Outdoor
This home presents several major draws, including the many terraces connected to the living room and bedrooms. The three-storey house also boasts a rooftop terrace. With plenty of outdoor space to work with, the designers proposed to create functional and inviting living spaces out of them. “The living terrace is as big as the living and dining areas,” Karen says. “So we put in large modular outdoor furniture, timber decking with lighting, and landscaping with outdoor stone effect stucco paint.” With their furniture choices, the designers created an almost seamless connection between the indoor and outdoor spaces, setting the stage for convenient entertaining. The furnishings depict streamlined profiles so that the home feels air y and open. Customised furnishings in wood, such as the wall-to-wall television feature, imbue the home with earthy warmth. These dark hues are balanced with furnishings in light colours. A trio of framed mirrors at the dining area enhances the visual space.
