Ta­ble reser­va­tions aren’t easy to get at this al­ways-busy spot so opt for a meal at the bar in­stead. The ta­pas menu of­fers a rich choice of items from the main menu and you can have a full meal, com­plete with dessert, there.

• Or­der the es­trel­la­dos con chorizo or rich scram­bled eggs on pota­toes topped with chorizo sausage, or the hot favourite Bikini, a crisp ham, cheese and truf­fle sand­wich.
