Using the guide
Since its launch in 2012, Catalunya has become somewhat of a culinary legend, offering top-notch food from a team that includes chefs who previously worked at world-renowned restaurants such as elBulli, Santi and Sketch.
Table reservations aren’t easy to get at this always-busy spot so opt for a meal at the bar instead. The tapas menu offers a rich choice of items from the main menu and you can have a full meal, complete with dessert, there.
Order the estrellados con chorizo or rich scrambled eggs on potatoes topped with chorizo sausage, or the hot favourite Bikini, a crisp ham, cheese and truffle sandwich.
For mains, the Segovian-style suckling pig is a crowd pleaser—presented on a wooden block and chopped up by the edge of a plate, demonstrating how tender the meat is. The Fullerton Pavilion, 82 Collyer Quay, S(049327) TEL: 6534 0886 www.catalunya.sg
