Per­anakan cui­sine gets a lovely up­mar­ket twist with a sub­tle sprin­kling of fu­sion in­flu­ences. The menu is struc­tured such that dishes are to be shared, so bring more friends to sam­ple them all.

The pork man tou starter gets our two thumbs-up—ten­der soy sauce pork cooked sous-vide and served with tangy pick­led veg­eta­bles in home­made mini steamed buns.

Or­der the grilled snap­per, which comes slathered in a del­i­cate spice paste then grilled in ba­nana leaf till fra­grant.

Two other win­ning choices: the prawn geng, with plump prawns in a rich turmeric and lemon­grass curry; and the or­ganic roasted pork belly with del­i­cate crispy skin.
