The restaurant, located at the corner of Amara Singapore hotel, near Chinatown, attracts overseas visitors to its premises. Indulging in French fare here amongst tourists creates a European style atmosphere.
Several items on the menu indicate they are best enjoyed shared by two, or three to four diners. Start with the Alsatian tartes flambees and a choice of toppings; the thin, crisp, freshly baked dough is very moreish. For a cold starter, elegant thin slices of velvety pink salmon are smoked in-house and accented by deliciously thick sour cream and shallots. Good for sharing, consider the whole New Zealand fish, roasted or with a crust of salt, in bouillabaisse broth, or dorper lamb shoulder cooked in a crust of salt.
