Nes­tled within the lush gar­den at Dempsey Hill, The Dis­grun­tled Chef serves as a sanc­tu­ary where you can enjoy de­lec­ta­ble mod­ern Euro­pean dishes.


Dur­ing week­ends, the restau­rant has a spe­cial brunch menu so the big plates are only avail­able for din­ner. The wine list also comes in a sep­a­rate menu from the house pours. Per­fectly grilled, the côte de boeuf re­mains ten­der and juicy and the smoky taste lingers in the mouth. An­other stand out dish here is the crispy lamb short ribs. Each lamb nugget is coated with dif­fer­ent spices and deep­fried to achieve that golden brown state. A sim­ple yet out­stand­ing dessert is the sticky tof­fee pud­ding. Soft and warm, it is com­ple­mented by the cold and creamy vanilla ice cream.
