Domvs is considered as the grande dame of Italian fine dining in Singapore, and proves its chops with a finely-curated selection of Mediterranean dishes.
The restaurant is quieter on the weekends—if you want ambience and buzz, opt for a weekday meal. The lamb chop is very well made, deliciously flavoured with a coffee sauce; the caffeine undertone is very subtle and can barely be tasted. For dessert, the panna cotta has berry-flavoured coulis and melt-in-the-mouth texture of the mousse. The grilled squid in extra virgin oil with semi-dried tomato comes with a side of arugula salad. The squid is chewy and well-seasoned by the chef.
