WHY GO

A quirky set up with an amazing view of the water is the main draw for this off-the-wall Japanese place. A tattoo mural dominates one wall, adding character to the space. It offers a quiet escape from the active rooftop bar.

TATLER TIPS

Book in advance and request a table by the window for the best view. Note that seating is in two timings - 6.30pm and 8.30pm. Opt for the earlier slot if you’re looking for a bit of quiet time. The black cod is a surprise, with the unusual pairing of pomegranate and miso. Also commendable is the beef tataki. The diced tomato and apple-ponzu garnish is just the right amount and works very well with the thinly-sliced meat. Other ‘Ninja’s favourite dishes’ include the and the spider maki.
