HOW TO GET THE MOST OUT OF YOUR SPA DAY

TAKE YOUR TREATMENT TO THE NEXT LEVEL WITH THESE 6 DOS AND DON’TS

Singapore Tatler Wedding - - BEAUTY -

1

Do arrive at the spa at least 30 minutes early so you have ample time to settle in, sip a calming cup of tea or even have a 10-minute session in the sauna or steam room (if these facilities are available) ahead of your treatment.

2

Do communicate with your therapist, especially if you feel pain or discomfort from the massage pressure. A spa session is meant to relax and soothe tense muscles, not torture them!

3

Do drink plenty of water before and after your treatment to ensure you are well hydrated and that toxins are flushed out of your body.

4

Don’t shave, wax or exfoliate your skin up to 48 hours before your spa session to avoid irritating sensitised skin.

5

Don’t have a heavy meal up to two hours before your treatment to avoid feeling uncomfortable on the massage table.

6

Don’t shower or wash your face right after a massage or facial—you want to give your skin some time to absorb the benefits of the ingredients that have been carefully applied.
