Who is your beauty inspiration?
My daughter Zahara. She has a natural elegance and grace, and at the same time she is independent and knows her mind when it comes to beauty and fashion.
Where will you go on your next holiday?
I think Namibia will be next, where our family foundation supports the Naankuse Wildlife Sanctuary, which protects the environment and wildlife, and provides employment, health and education to the local Bushmen community.
What do you like about Mon Guerlain?
I love the jasmine and sandalwood scents mixed with lavender. I don’t like perfumes that are too strong or sweet. They have to be scents I can wear every day and that our children like and associate with mum.
What is your favourite city for beauty finds?
Siem Reap and Battambang in Cambodia—for their use of local oils.
What products do you always have in your bag?
Lip balm and under-eye concealer
What do you love about dressing up for the red carpet?
The last one was in Cambodia with my children. I think the chaos of getting ready with them is my favourite.
What is your guilty pleasure?
I have many. And no guilt. If anything, I need to indulge more.
