Over 300 guests braved a sweltering afternoon to watch Britain’s Prince Harry play his first polo match in Singapore in June. Held at the Singapore Polo Club, the Sentebale Royal Salute Polo Cup raised funds for the charity co-founded by Prince Harry and Prince Seeiso of Lesotho that supports vulnerable Hiv-affected children and youths in Lesotho and Botswana. Now in its eighth year, the 2017 edition of this fundraiser made its Southeast Asia debut in Singapore, and the closely fought game featured valiant performances from Royal Salute world polo ambassador Malcolm Borwick, and Sentebale and St Regis ambassador Nacho Figueras.

TEAM SPIRIT The Sentebale ISPS Handa team (pictured left, with Scottish actress Karen Gillan) clinched victory over the St Regis team, with the winning ball struck by Prince Harry in the final chukka
