Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone, and now, Singapore Tatler— Timothy White’s portraits have appeared in leading American publications, and made their Asian debut in our January issue, where he shot his current muse and Tatler friend Tan Min-li. To celebrate his Asian launch, the acclaimed celebrity photographer held an exhibition at Yang Gallery, organised by Min-li and hosted by Singapore Tatler, where he was introduced to the city’s prominent art collectors. White was happy to share anecdotes behind each image, including the captivating shots of John Travolta, Nicole Kidman and Jay-z, but the portrait that garnered the most attention was the one he took of Min-li in New York.
